Die Sage von <anchor type="b" ana="regID_8.lemID_784" xml_id="TidB21992" data-toggle="joTeiPopoverh" title="Ferhad" data-ana="regID_8.lemID_784" data-content="">FerhadP</anchor> und <anchor type="b" ana="regID_8.lemID_5354" xml_id="TidB21998" data-toggle="joTeiPopoverh" title="Schirin" data-ana="regID_8.lemID_5354" data-content="">Schirin</anchor><anchor data-toggle="joTeiPopoverh" ana="regID_8.lemID_5354" data-ana="regID_8.lemID_5354" >P</anchor> wurde mir folgendermaßen erzählt:

19 und Baumeister, war in sie sterblich verliebt. Um seine Liebe zu kühlen, wurden ihm die
20 Arbeiten am <anchor type="b" ana="regID_7.lemID_554" xml_id="TidB21987" data-toggle="joTeiPopoverh" title="Bisutun" data-ana="regID_7.lemID_554" data-content="">BisutunO</anchor> [KK3: Ort Bisutûn] übertragen, und gesagt, wenn er in 20 Tagen eine Quelle aus dem
21 Felsen hervortreten könnte lassen, wolle man ihm <anchor type="b" ana="regID_8.lemID_5354" xml_id="TidB22000" data-toggle="joTeiPopoverh" title="Schirin" data-ana="regID_8.lemID_5354" data-content="">SchirinP</anchor> zur Frau geben. Schon
22 nach 3 Tagen meldete er, daß die Quelle gefunden sei; er erhielt aber zur
23 Antwort, erst nach 20 Tagen sei die Frist abgelaufen. <anchor type="b" ana="regID_8.lemID_5352" xml_id="TidB21990" data-toggle="joTeiPopoverh" title="Khosru" data-ana="regID_8.lemID_5352" data-content="">KhosruP</anchor> nun, um ihn
24 zu betrügen, sandte dann eine Menge Volk, alte Weiber, aus, schreiend und
25 wehklagend, daß die arme <anchor type="b" ana="regID_8.lemID_5354" xml_id="TidB22001" data-toggle="joTeiPopoverh" title="Schirin" data-ana="regID_8.lemID_5354" data-content="">SchirinP</anchor> todt sei. Als <anchor type="b" ana="regID_8.lemID_784" xml_id="TidB21994" data-toggle="joTeiPopoverh" title="Ferhad" data-ana="regID_8.lemID_784" data-content="">FerhadP</anchor> dies hörte, hieb er das
26 alte Weib, die ihm es erzählte, in Stücken, nahm dann sein großes eisernes
27 Instrument zum Steinhauen, schwang es in die Luft und ließ es auf seinen Kopf fallen,
28 nahm es dann und warf es hoch ins Gebirge, wo es in den Fels eindrang und
29 noch heute sichtbar sein soll. Er selbst erlag gleich darauf dem Tode. Als <anchor type="b" ana="regID_8.lemID_5354" xml_id="TidB22002" data-toggle="joTeiPopoverh" title="Schirin" data-ana="regID_8.lemID_5354" data-content="">SchirinP</anchor>

33 Leid anthun würde und ließ daher alle Schneideinstrumente von ihr entfernen;
34 sie hatte aber heimlich ein kleines Messer unter <anchor type="b" ana="regID_15.lemID_2391" xml_id="TidB4969" class="joTeiKritikPopover-text" title="" data-ana="" data-content="">ih</anchor>Trer Kopfhaube verborgen und
35 begab sich nun ins Bad und dann zum Grabe ihres Geliebten; dort zog sie das

24 zu betrügen, sandte dann eine Menge Volk, alte Weiber, aus, schreiend und
25 wehklagend, daß die arme <anchor type="b" ana="regID_8.lemID_5354" xml_id="TidB22001" data-toggle="joTeiPopoverh" title="Schirin" data-ana="regID_8.lemID_5354" data-content="">SchirinP</anchor> todt sei. Als <anchor type="b" ana="regID_8.lemID_784" xml_id="TidB21994" data-toggle="joTeiPopoverh" title="Ferhad" data-ana="regID_8.lemID_784" data-content="">FerhadP</anchor> dies hörte, hieb er das
26 alte Weib, die ihm es erzählte, in Stücken, nahm dann sein großes eisernes
27 Instrument zum Steinhauen, schwang es in die Luft und ließ es auf seinen Kopf fallen,
28 nahm es dann und warf es hoch ins Gebirge, wo es in den Fels eindrang und
